Hello, I got a query about a scenario for OrderStatusRequest, the scenario is as follow: 1. Send a new order which will be rejected 2. Send a OrderStatusRequest for that rejected order May I ask what will be the value of tag#150 (ExecType) of that Execution Report for the OrderStatusRequest? Many thanks. Donald ---

Hi Dean, Thank you for your answer, but for FIX4.0 - FIX4.2, there is no value ‘I’ for ExecType, what value should it be for 4.0 to 4.2? ExecTransType and ExecID serve to clarify reponses to OrderStatusRequest in FIX 4.2; they should have values of 3 “Status” and 0 respectively. Thanks Nick, Appendix D24 is about sending a OrderStatusRequest for an unknown ClOrdID. But if the ClOrdID exists (the order exist but rejected), will the OrderStatusRequest still be rejected just like D24? Many thanks. IMHO, I still think 150=8 and 39=8 If you know for sure they have consumed your ClOrdID, as you say, then you really only need to look at the value of the OrdStatus field.
