Explanation of some Values of tag 1002 AllocMethod under AE message

Is it possible to get an explanation of values 2-Guarantor and 4-Broker Assigned in tag 1002 AllocMethod in AE message please ?

Hi, this one is difficult to answer. It was added to the standard back as part of FIX 5.0 which was first published in 2007. The only record available is that it was from an extension pack submitted by the FIA as a result of work from the various exchanges and CCPs at that time. There was no further elaboration on what these enums mean or how they are used.
