1. How should the gaps in the list be treated ?
Lets say, client sent 6 orders with ListNoOrds = 25 and client
sends 7th orders with ListNoOrds = 30 or 20 ?

  1. How to respond if a list has been submitted for execution and has
    no outstanding order and client sends List Cancel Request. Cancel_rejects
    for all the orders or (a new message type "List cancel reject" may be
    appropriate)

  2. How to change execution instructions for a list ?
    In New order List, if a client wants to specify some instruction on
    how to execute a list. It can be specified in “ListExecInst” field
    in the first order of the list. Protocol says that individual order
    can be replaced via “Order Cancel/Replace Request”. "ListExecInst"
    doesn’t exist in “Order Cancel/Replace Request” message.

The List Order messages have not been used very much to date and we believe they need some work. We have a working group being established to review the List Order messages and make recommendations for revisions and enhancements.
