Jordan & Jordan, a management consulting firm specializing in the financial services industry, is looking for a Financial Markets Developer to participate as a team member developing a fundamental data/financial market pricing database. Functions involved include:
• Acquisition of data from industry sources
• Data cleansing
• Data Modeling
• Programming and testing the creation of the data
Location: New York City (with Limited international travel)
Required Skills
• Education: Bachelor’s degree, with computer science or engineering degree a plus.
• Experience: 2 to 3 years in functions directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
• Experience with DB/2 or similar databases.
• Work within financial markets, with focus on data.
• Knowledge of FIX or FIXML a plus.
