Job Description
Seeking world-class consultants for professional services group. Qualified candidates must have deep technical experience with Java/Javascript and commonly adopted financial protocols (i.e., FIX). They should also have industry expertise in the securities business working with electronic trading solutions. Candidates must have strong customer relationship skills and customer-facing experience in delivering business solutions through technology. Strong oral and written communication skills are necessary.
Candidates should have some leadership experience in the implementation of financial technology applications at a team leader, project leader or technical project leader level.
Primary Responsibilities
-Working with customers to understand and document technical and business requirements
-Developing implementation plans
-Installing and implementing software according to customer specifications
-Integrating software with customer applications, including Java development
-Working closely with other departments (i.e., Engineering, Customer Support) to ensure a tight implementation of the solution and a smooth transition to production.
Required Qualifications
-Programming experience in Java
-Strong oral and written communication skills
-Experience in the financial services industry
-Ability to understand customer’s requirements and to implement technology solutions according to those requirements
-FIX protocol experience
-Bachelor’s degree required

This is a full-time position - consultants or contractors will not be considered.
Must be able to work in the U.S. immediately - no sponsorship.
