# FIX 4.2 over 4.3

Hi,  
I have the option of using FIX 4.2 and 4.3. Is there a hudge difference between these two versions. Which would be the better option.

It really depends on what you are using it for and how far down the trade process you want to implement FIX. Following link should be a good starting point.
