Can someone please post information on where to
find FIX and XML parser software?

Information on transport mechanisms would also help.

Thanks

There is no FIX and XML specific parsers. The XML Working Group will be defining the grammar in a DTD or Document Type Definition that would help to validate FIX messages in the XML format we’ve named FIXML. We should be able to use any of the readily available parsers.

FIX is transport independent but most implementations seem to be on TCP/IP.

The following is a list of XML parsers that are currently available on the web.

Is the FIXML spec available?? We are already
using XML on top of a transport. How much
work would it be to make it work w/ a generic
XML parser that supports DTD’s??

thx.

The XML Working Group is currently working on the FIXML spec and a pilot project to implement it. It is hard to tell at this point how hard it will be to implement a FIXML but as soon as we complete the pilot we will post the results.

I am relatively new to this FIX ? and FIXML. How and Where do i start to learn about FIX and FIXML. It would be of great help if someone could help me on this.
