JOB TITLE: FIX Analyst
LOCATION: Chicago
COMPENSATION: Open

COMPANY: Financial services firm based in Chicago. Client is a provider of clearance and execution services to professional traders on all the major U.S. securities and commodities exchanges.

ROLE: The primary responsibilities of a FIX Analyst include production support of order routing and trade reporting FIX connections

–FIX Certification Testing
·Facilitation of connectivity with network operations team and liaise with customer.
·Configuration of FIX session.
·Working with customer on test plan. Testing environment
·Approving test plan for moves to production

–Production Configuration of Additional Sessions
·Liaise between customer, business rep and network operations team.
·Configure session in production environment.
·Conduct production test trades with customer and report results to trade operations team.
·QA testing

Team consists of 2 members in Chicago and 5 in NY. There will be about 1 week of training for the first month in NY.

REQUIREMENTS:
Strong knowledge of UNIX
Prior knowledge of the FIX Protocol (1-3 years)
