A major investment bank is looking for someone who is responsible for establishing connectivity to clients and exchanges using a mixture of direct FIX connections and third party vendors. Provide pre-installation assistance for clients; from discussing connectivity and order routing options, to taking clients all the way through to first day of trading. This job can lead to a project management role in the future.
Required Skills: Experience working with FIX Engines and Protocols (not someone who develops engines, but someone who works with those engines to handle Connectivity issues). Sybase, Perl and Unix.
