FIX Client Integration and day to day management of production FIX Interfaces to our Electronic Trading environment. This position involves extensive interaction with our external clients and Equities Business Unit.
Responsibilities:
Electronic Trading Interface design, client interface configuration. Working with Clients to establitesting. Participsh Connectivity, Execute Unit and Certification ate in testing of new versions binaries and execute upgrades of existing environments. As member of ‘TradePlant’ will provide 3rd Level Support of Production Environment including Outage management and remdiation.
Requirements:
At least 3 to 5 Years Experience working in the Financial Services Industry TCP/IP basics Strong UNIX background - including understanding of file systems, symbolic links and process management FIX - should have some experience with FIX and Client Connectivity, Order Flow Routing and Electronic Trading. Candidate should have experience implementing change to a production trading environment Excellent Communications skills - both verbal and written Team player that can function as part of a group and can maintain their composure while working under pressure.
Additional Skills that would make candidate competitive: Strong Business Acumen - experience with ECNs, DOT, booking and Electronic Trading Series #7 Experience working with compliance and regulatory groups on issues related to Electronic Trading Sybase - ability to understand relational database table schemas - does not require DBA skills. Perl and KSH scripting Experience optimizing systems and performance.
