A Boston, MA based company is looking for the following:
DESCRIPTION
FIX certification specialist responsible for testing FIX engine software with participants in the Global FIX community. This person will need to work independently and be very detail oriented. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
*Validate FIX software to certify adherence to the FIX specification and prevent the potential for application errors.
*Reproduction of client problems to report to development.
*Quality assurance testing software.
REQUIRED SKILLS
*Ability to quickly learn and use complex software applications.
*Ability to work independently and resolve undocumented client issues.
*Familiarity with financial markets, trading or asset management industry.
*Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
*Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects.
*Previous application testing or certification experience.
DESIRED SKILLS
*Knowledge of the Financial Information Exchange (FIX) Protocol.
