SimCorp has linked its investment management platform, SimCorp Dimension with FIX CITY’s revolutionary ioinet pre-trade messaging system for IOIs and Trade Advertisements. This new link completes SimCorp Dimension’s front office FIX capabilities.
FIX CITY’s ioinet was developed with considerable feedback from both buy and sell-side firms. The link to ioinet enables buy-side dealers to receive IOIs and Trade Advertisements from a range of selected sell-side traders through a secure website accessible from within their investment management system.
The interface with ioinet completes the order lifecycle in SimCorp Dimension, SimCorp’s fully integrated front-to-back investment management software, and it is available in the current release.
“Our customers will now be able to receive IOIs electronically, create watch lists and respond to their brokers via the FIX protocol” explains Natasha Bonner-Fomes, SimCorp’s order management domain manager: “That means that the order process in SimCorp Dimension is now fully supported from initial interest, through dealing and allocation and on into settlement, with no need to re-key or enter data that is already available in electronic form elsewhere.”
