Major investment bank is seeking a FIX Connectivity Specialist for their Technology Center in Houston. In this role, you would be responsible for managing the support center of
four to six people for the Equities trading systems. You will monitor the Appia FIX engine that is the point of entry for the electronic connectivity from clients and internal systems.
This requires a strong knowledge of equity trading systems and order routing. The Equities Trading system is developed in Java, TIBCO
RV and Sybase and runs on Sun servers running Solaris.
Requirements include 5 plus years of progressive technology experience, 2 plus years of team lead/management experience, and 3 plus years of Appia FIX experience, including work with
connectivity issues and sequence engines.
Experience with Sybase, Unix and TIBCO RV are also required.
Relocation assistance will be provided, if necessary.
