A top financial company in the NYC area is currently looking for a FIX Connectivity support analyst to join their front-office IT team. The role is responsible for providing systems
and business support to our Institutional and Retail Nasdaq and NYSE Equities
Electronic Execution business.
Requirements:
Undergraduate Degree or equivalent required.
2+ years experience in the financial markets industry (Equities Trade
Processing a plus).
A working knowledge of both the Nasdaq and NYSE markets required.
Familiarity with Word and Excel required.
Excellent interpersonal skills are required to interact with Team Members,
Clients, Sales and Trading Teams, and Account Managers.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work in a highly motivated workplace.
Self starting skills and attention to details essential.
Ability to learn quickly.
Series 7 a plus.
Working knowledge of FIX and Electronic Execution systems a plus.
