Prominent Connecticut based hedge fund is looking for a QA Analyst to join their technology infrastructure and trading systems development team. This candidate will primarily be responsible for certifying new fix connections and providing second level support for existing connections. This person in this role will provide QA function for FIX infrastructure and new application features in order and position management systems.
This person should have a minimum of 2 years QA and support experience in an equities trading environment. Technical knowledge should include a comprehensive understanding of FIX 4.X, Networking, Systems Analysis, data center management, LAN administration, spreadsheets and word processing. Functionally, the ideal candidate will have worked in one or more of the following areas: accounting, credit analysis, project management, strategic planning, purchasing or systems and technology.
Strong attention to detail is critical in this role. Our ideal candidate will be able to articulate the depth and detail of all project work with ease.
