An exciting oppertunity for an experienced FIX Developer to join a top tier investment bank in London. The successful candidate will provide support for the current FIX client connectivity platform, on-boarding and integration testing of new client connections and the management/development of client requested enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
Management of FIX engines in production.
Client integration testing and configuration.
Internal upgrade testing and production release management.
Will provide 2nd level support of production environment including outage management and remediation.
Analysis and development of client requested enhancements.
Key Skills Required:
Educated to at least degree level preferred.
At least 2 to 3 years experience working in the financial services industry
Excellent communications skills - both verbal and written, and an ability to work both within a team and independently.
FIX knowledge a must!Experience with FIX and client connectivity, order routing and electronic trading.
An appreciation of general networking issues (e.g. TCP/IP, firewalls, routers etc.)
At least 1 to 2 years JAVA knowledge essential.
Knowledge of UNIX and Windows environments, crontab, task scheduling and scripting.
