The IT Division of the Futures Industry Association is forming a sub-committee on industry standards. One of the topics of disucussion is the use of the FIX protocol for communications between customers, FCM’s and exchanges. I would be interested in hearing from anyone who is interested in participating in the process, or has worked on adapting FIX for this industry.
