FIX Integration Consultant-AUSTRAILIA
Implement our clients integration solutions and technical services to clients in meeting their back office trade processing objectives FIX protocol knowledge is key.
Implementation Execution (1st)
Provide onsite (primarily) integration service to clients implementing our client’s solutions, first level support with any associated technical issues and act as primary point of contact for lifecycle of implementation.
Function as an escalation point for client services to assist in resolution of client technical issues.
Support teams in the analysis and design of external STP projects.
Identify project requirements, strategies, and schedules in support of implementation projects (documented in MS Project).
Communicate regularly with management regarding project status and participate in project reviews.
Articulate complex technical issues to management; recommend appropriate solutions and guide client through issue resolution.
Keep abreast of latest job-related technologies.
Manage the scope of the project.
Complete and/or supervise the completion of all assigned tasks, on time.
Provide feedback and enhancement requests to product development on Clients services.
Able to work independently and manage project scope and client expectations.
Business Development (2nd)
Support and consult Sales Executives with the technical aspects of sales calls and pre-implementation scoping.
Develop client relationships and articulate client issues to relevant parties such as Regional Product Management.
Identify additional opportunities for business through extension of existing work or through new work within existing accounts.
Build relationships with client technical/development organizations and be recognized by these organizations as a product expert who adds value.
4+ years relevant experience preferably in an information technology position with a financial services company.
An understanding of the Institutional Trade Flow and Trade Processing business, i.e. knowledge of Electronic Trade Confirmation, Straight Through Processing (STP) and the current industry initiatives highly desired.
Experience with similar business/application messaging systems and protocols (FIX) highly desirable.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Ability to work in a team-based structure or autonomously and ability to achieve goals.
