We would like to invite you to the very first “FIX” Event hosted by SWIFT that Trace Financial and APT have organised on Tuesday 17th, September, 2002.
Location: SWIFT
7th Floor
55 Mark Lane
London EC3R 7NE
There is a growing interest and take up of automation using FIX in the front office. To date, automation is bespoke and disparate; indeed many are still using the trusted phone and fax.
Growing financial risks associated with this critical part of the investment process mean that automation is key going forward.
The undertaking between FIX Protocol Limited (FPL) and SWIFT to seek convergence of their respective messaging protocols centred on the adoption of ISO 15022 XML as a common industry standard, was welcomed by the industry as means to a tangible link between the front and back office operations of securities institutions. This is now supplemented by SWIFT’s launching of the SWIFTNet FIX HUB, offering in addition the opportunity for unified connectivity and communication channels.
Find out more from key industry professionals and best of breed suppliers how to make the most of the opportunities and challenges this brings to the securities industry.
The workshop aims to be interactive. It will be an opportunity for you to voice your opinion and ask questions.
See below for detailed agenda.
To enrol yourself and/or your colleagues to this free event please send an e-mail to Naren Patel (naren.patel@tracegroup.com) stating the name, title, firm and contact details (tel., e-mail address) of the people wishing to attend.
I remain at your disposal for any additional information you may need and look forward to meeting you on September 17th.
