I am always interested in talking to other parties about increasing awareness of the FIX protocol in London and the rest of Europe. I would particularly welcome a discussion with someone involved with an interface to SETS (the London Stock Exchange electronic system). The whole question of electronic Equities trading in Europe is currently in sharp focus given the very recent announcement of a proposed merger between the Deutsche Borse and the London Stock Exchange.
