Brand New Position for IBK in NYC
The position deals with FIX client connectivity and connectivity to OTC and Exchange traded products.
The primary responsibilities of this position include testing and integration of new FIX Electronic Trading Order Management and Routing infrastructure. As a member of the FIX Client Connectivity team, you will be responsible for the development and integration of FIX Interfaces between the firm and our external clients. Daily responsibilities include managing the configuration and testing of the FIX Gateway that provide our clients with access to proprietary front-end trading applications, strategy engines and direct exchange destinations. This position involves working very closely with Equity/Futures/Fixed Income/FX business unit clients, Application Development groups and Third Party Vendors to establish system requirements. It will require designing FIX specification and FIX message format to accommodate the individual trading and order handling requirements of our clients. The responsibilities of this position include the planning, execution and support of turnovers/upgrades to implement new infrastructure and upgrade existing systems in the simulation environment.
