This is a QA role, involving FIX certification of external clients to connect to the Firm’s direct market access platform in the US. There is some internal regression testing of FIX interfaces, as well.
Ideally, minimum of 2-4 years experience working with FIX and equities trading systems.
Client Adoption Engineer -
Responsibilities:
Performs Client Certification testing
Certifies 3rd party vendor platforms with the client connectivity platform
Coordinates with the FIX operations and business application teams regarding issues that arise during client deployments, including new feature requests
Coordinates with the FIX operations and business application teams for client deployments
Maintenance of Client Test environments
Performs regression testing of business gateways
Maintains FIX specifications
Requirements
Expert knowledge of FIX protocol
Good knowledge of Unix
Good knowledge of SQL (Oracle preferred)
Strong QA background
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong knowledge of US Equities markets
Nice to have: Experience with Appia, TransactTools ttCert, TIBCO
