I posted this in the wrong forum before, so hopefully this is the right place for the question:
I’m looking for a tool that would let us create test scenarios and then execute them against a client or server. We’d like to find something that has a GUI, rather than having to edit files and stuff.
Depending on the cost of the system, we’re looking for anywhere from one to five users. I haven’t seen prices on any of the systems that are out there, so if someone has used any of them and knows what they cost, I’d appreciate any info you could give me.
Please respond by email if you can.

I have a free FIX engine (Client/Server) for test.
FixExpress is a gateway running in Linux.
-
True FIX session level support. User does not need to consider any session level works. (Logon, logout, resend, etc).
-
Simple, event driven API. You application will receive messages from a inbound message queue, and send message to an outbound message queue.
-
Multi-thread server processing. Support many client connections concurrently.
-
Free download.

We have a tool that provides a FIX engine within Excel. This can then be used either as a test tool to generate repeatable scenarios or integrated into your Excel sheets and controlled using Visual Basic.
The download is here:
You need to contact us to get an activation key.
The cost is 5800 Euro for the first user, and 800 Euro for subsequent users, including 6 months support. Support is charged at 20% of the initial costs.
Cheers,
