Candidate will be working in the Equities Connectivity team. He/She will be enhancing functionality of interface applications that communicate with stock exchanges and customer order management systems. Responsibilities will include installing, administering and supporting FIX connectivity and applications. Be a part of a dynamic growth team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Ongoing support of business and technology connectivity requirements. Install/implement exchange and customer connectivity in production.
-Monitor application and system performance.
-Help identify methods to improve resiliency.
-Troubleshoot connectivity problems in production.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
-Experience with the FIX Protocol and FIX Engines.
-Previous experience in a FIX environment.
-Strong interpersonal skills.
-UNIX/Linux background.
-Script/perl/korn scripting desirable.
-vi or emacs editor skills.
-Experience in Database, Sybase preferable.
-Experience in multi threaded application desirable.
-Experience in network programming desirable.
