Candidate will be working in the Equities Connectivity team. He/She will be enhancing functionality of interface applications that communicate with stock exchanges and customer order management systems. Responsibilities will include installing, administering and supporting FIX connectivity and applications. Be a part of a dynamic growth team.
Principal Responsibilities
Ongoing support of business and technology connectivity requirements. Install/implement exchange and customer connectivity in production.
Monitor application and system performance.
Help identify methods to improve resiliency.
Troubleshoot connectivity problems in production.
Experience/Skills
Strong interpersonal skills.
UNIX/Linux background.
Script/perl programming desirable.
vi or emacs editor skills.
Experience in database, Sybase preferable.
Experience in multi threaded application desirable.
Experience in network programming desirable.
