I am sure you mean well, James, but stepping on someone else’s product announcement isn’t nice. “Congratulations” is the proper response, or none at all.

John,

Sorry for the confusion. The two products aren’t competitive to one another. Ours is a FIX dictionary that we also wanted to announce (It is new). The Sungard tool looks great and is a full featured application.

My goal was to strengthen the discussion of mobile device FIX
tools by supplementing the Sungard announcement, not to displace it.

Will use more caution in the future,

James

Thank you, James, but I owe you an apology as well. I should have directed my comment to you privately rather than in a public forum. I’ll be more careful in the future, as well. Best to my friends at FIX Flyer.

Hi James & John,

Thanks for your comments. I just want to clarify that FIX Viewer is not a Sungard product. This was a hobby project mine that I have done for my own personal use and later thought that others might find it useful as well. When I first posted in this forum, inadvertently my employer’s name appeared. I had quickly deleted that post and re-posted from my personal ID.

I apologize for the confusion.

Sudhir
