I am new to FIX protocol. I am wondering whether OFX can be used in financial information exchange between institutions. In other works, can OFX be used in the places where FIX is used traditionally? Thanks!

> I have been doing some reserch on OFX ans FIX lately and I feel that OFX is a standard for propritery applications such as MS Money and Intuit’s Quicken whereas FIX is for use more in financial dealing such as interaction between buy-side( the client ) and the sell-side( the broker/ dealer ).
