Our client is seeking a Fixed Income Development Manager with who will be responsible for catalyzing and executing new technology initiatives to dramatically improve the market responsiveness of the trading system. This individual will also be required to collaborate with business development in order to conceptualize projects and define the evolution/revolution of large complex mission-critical systems by leading the design and implementation of new software including libraries/frameworks, legacy adapters/protocol handlers and distributed client/server applications. Candidate must have strong communication and organizational skills. Must be a hands-on technical manager. NYC location.
REQUIREMENTS:
Successful candidate must have 10+ yrs of in-depth systems programming expertise and thorough up-to-date familiarity with all details and tools required for effective Unix C/C++ multithreaded systems programming, debugging and reverse engineering. Must also have experience with real-time distributed/concurrent systems, network programming, shared memory IPC, transaction processing, DBMS, financial technology, order execution,order management, program trading, market data and analytics. Knowledge of Fixed Income markets needed.
