hi all,
I need a clarification.is there any parser available which parses fixml to fix and viceversa,
or do we need to implement ourselves.

is there any api available…

I would look at using XSLT to transform the FIXML document into the FIX message.

I have a sample java app to transform FIXML to FIX and vice versa using XSLT. It involves putting both formats into an intermediate XML format and using XSLT to do the transformation.

I’ve only created stylesheets for the 4.2 order message. I would need help creating stylesheets for the other messages. I will eventually post it on the web.

If you want the work-in-progress send me an email.

Some of the challenges are that not all XSLT processors are created equally. Some of my templates work well in one processor and not in others.
