FixSpec Launch Online FIX And ITCH Specifications With Chi-X Australia

Imported from previous forum

Today we launch the online versions of the FIX order entry and ITCH market data specifications for Chi-X Australia, extending the benefit of our decoder tools into the ITCH protocol for the first time.

FIX for order entry and ITCH for market data is an increasingly common combination for electronic markets worldwide, so the addition of ITCH support is a natural extension to our services, and we will continue to extend to other protocols in the future.

Access to the Chi-X Australia specifications is currently restricted to Chi-X participants and vendors only (see previous post about access controls for specifications). If you are a Chi-X Australia client, then simply search for their specifications at http://fixspec.com and follow the instructions to request access.

If you are interested in viewing online ITCH messages but are not a client or prospect of Chi-X Australia, then FixSpec have also provided an example specification based on observed best practices at http://fixspec.com/ITCH.

If your firm would like to benefit from the tools we are building to put specifications online, the drop me a line.
