FixSpec Launch Open Repository For Financial Services Documentation

Imported from previous forum

FixSpec are pleased to announce the immediate launch of an open repository for financial service documentation on fixspec.com.

The service is designed as a simple solution to the inefficient, hit-and-miss, and labour-intensive task of finding and distributing financial services connectivity documentation.

Open to all, the repository is designed as a library of all types of documentation required for financial services connectivity from user guides to connectivity information, to API specifications of any protocol.

To help developers and business analysts keep on top of change, the service places particular emphasis on the ability to view and understand document history over time, and currently holds over 3,100 updates to 300 documents from the world's largest exchanges and trading counterparties. Users can easily bookmark their currently-developed version to receive customised email update alerts which quickly detail the cumulative difference between their bookmark and the latest-issued version directly in the covering email.

Vertical Timeline

The service can be accessed at https://fixspec.com/specs.

The repository is free to contribute, free to search and free to subscribe, and document authors can gain valuable insights into who is viewing and tracking their documents over time. Authors concerned about intellectual property leakage can use the built-in access controls, to achieve a secure, audited access mechanism.

The service is designed as a complement to FixSpec's work on online, machine-readable, multi-protocol ROE (rules of engagement) documents which power all of our enterprise onboarding and monitoring products.

For more information or to add your documents to the repository, please contact happytohelp@fixspec.com.
