Top-tier financial services company is seeking a “hands-on” technical lead needed to manage projects in the Foreign Exchange Analytics Group. This person will be responsible for working closely with business representatives to understand business needs, translate these into effective designs and project plans, and lead the project through construction to deployment. As a project lead, this person will be providing direction and focus to the team, fostering an open and cooperative environment and guiding the development of team members. The ideal candidate would have financial industry knowledge as well as experience with technical architecture, OO analysis and design, user
interfaces, and software refactoring.
Foreign Exchange background is not a requirement but would be a plus.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years C++/OOAD application development experience
- 2+ years project management experience
- “Playing to Win”
- Proven ability to deliver business value
- Strong communicator with ability to coordinate and follow up aggressively
- Ability to motivate and mentor team members
- Ability to reach consensus and build effective working relationships
Pluses Include: Design Patterns, PERL, UNIX
