Hi

Since FIX 4.0 does not natively support the concept of a “Foreign Investor Registration ID” as found in Asian markets, does anyone have suggestions where one can put this in a 4.0 message?

The most commonly used tags are Tag 1 and Tag 58 for communicating investor ID’s in Asian markets.

Hi

Let’s say we use text, would it make sense to append the foreign registration ID to the end of whatever text there is in the field already?

For example:

58=Work the order;#FRN 12345678
