I was wondering if someone could give me a general format (example) for sending FX transactions (SPOT and FORWARDS) using the FIX 4.1 specifications. I am having trouble figuring out what fields to use to send the ISO code pairs, the amount for each currency, the rate of exchange, etc. I needed to use message type "D" (New Order - Single). Also, I was wondering if we can only use the fields indicated in the New Order - Single section or if we can use any valid field along with the indicated fields.
