A top financial firm in the NYC area is looking for an application support developer for their futures and options group.
Provide technical/application first and second level support for:
Exchange provided - trading application
GL Trade, Rolfe & Nolan (Trade matching, Clearing applications).
SwisKey Execution & Clearing (Client facing clearing applications).
Other ETD applications.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree required.
Some travel may be required.
Excellent verbal communication and problem solving capability.
Good time management and attention to detail.
Business knowledge: Options/Futures industry experience essential.
Experience supporting trading applications.
Track record of being able to communicate with Operations and IT personnel.
Technical: Experience with UNIX, NT, Oracle, Sybase, Perl, MQ Series, Network
infrastructure (WAN/LAN), C or C++, Web technologies (eg Java, HTML, XML) and
FIX (FIXML).
