Large City investment bank requires an experienced Senior Development Manager with excellent FX Prime Brokerage financial product knowledge to co-ordinate the development of a Front Office on-line E-commerce trading desk. Candidate will be expected to liaise heavily with the business, ie from traders through to MD’s. He/she will create the link between the business and the IT and will co-ordinate the development of the applications from inception design through to development. Applications will be written in C++, Java, Unix, Sybase. Knowledge of these technologies is essential. Front Office banking background is essential. Candidate must have the right attitude to deal with the business and the pitfalls which occur on a day to day basis. Strong financial product knowledge is a pre-requisite. Knowledge of Fix Protocol order routing connectivity advantageous.
