· The candidate will be a hands-on project leader responsible for all aspects of the FX Prime Brokerage business.
· The individual will be responsible for proprietary Prime Broker matching engines, deal processing and website.
· Eventually the person will have a team of 1 to 2 individuals working for them to support this business.
· The candidate must have a solid background in the FX business. Specifically, they must be familiar with FX Prime Brokerage.
· The candidate must have very good communication skills so that they can work effectively with the FX desk, as well as the customers themselves. In addition, the individual may be asked to assist in customer sales calls on occasion.
· The candidate needs to have reasonable hands-on coding skills in C/C++. Some HTML and Java experience would be a plus.
· He or she must have strong object oriented design and development skills.
· The candidate should have experience with both the Unix and NT/Windows environments.
· Sybase or equivalent relational database experience is desirable.
