Is it possible under tcp to get a garbled FIX message just because of transmission error, other than software logic problem?
If so, Is it worth processing the tcp stream further, detect sequence gap and request resend than just disconnect and relogin?
BTW, How often could we get garbled messages under tcp. I never saw this happened due to transmission problem as tcp has checksum and resend request internally…(tcp delivery and data integrity is guaranteed)
