Hello everyone!
I was wondering if anyone could help me out with this. I am using a FIX engine to connect to a couple of institutions and am able to use FIX messages to receive market data. My next step is to be able to fetch my account information such as account ID, account name, account balance etc.
How can this be done? Are there any examples, documents, or samples online that explain this? Does anyone know of any books on FIX messages?
Problem is I have no clue what kind of message I should send and what kind of response to expect. Any help on this would be highly appreciated!

You could look into PostTrade Messages, like RequestForPositions,PositionReport
