Hi,

Would it be possible to get a getting started application note. What I am after is an example which explain a typical FIX message and explain a run through from Logon, Qoute, Order to Logout.

Also it would be nice to have examples of on the wire format of the different FIX messages.

You might check out the "ExampleFixMessage.txt" file within Organization, Tech Committee. It has some sample FIX-formatted messages including logon sequences.
