Greenline Financial Technologies (GFT) is seeking a talented, Senior GUI Developer to design and build high performance, mission critical screens. Candidate must possess extensive experience developing client and web based applications, with an expert understanding of front-end coding principles.

JOB DESCRIPTION - Role and Responsibility
The responsibilities of this role include, but not limited to:
• Specify, design, develop, front end applications related to the financial services and capital markets industries
• Develop best practices for front-end design and implementation
• Drive recommendations for optimizing front end development and front end platform choice
• Analyze customer and internal project requirements to implement new and enhance existing solutions
• Generate/participate in the production of: alternative designs and assess ‘best fit’ solutions with particular regard to conforming to GFT process and technical standards, as well as meeting the parameters of performance, reliability, time to market and costs (development, operational, support)
• Co-operate and collaborate with team members in the development, testing and implementation of enterprise solutions.
• Produce documentation according to current process standards (e.g. requirements, design, functional specifications, release notes, operations guides, test plans etc.)
• Participate in meetings to identify and solve problems before, during and post implementation.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS- Required Skills and Education
• A minimum of 5 Years experience on front end client and web-based application development
• BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Expert level knowledge of JSP, HTML, XML, and Struts framework
• Expert Level knowledge of .NET and C# front end development
• Understanding and experience with MFC/Win32, X/Motif, Swing/AWT, SWT, QT, GTK
• Strong background in programming, troubleshooting, design and communication skills
• Must be detail oriented, meticulous about coding and visual interface design standards
• Analysis and Design skills around front-end component based development and usability methodologies.
• Experience with 1 or more relational database(s): Oracle, SQL Server Sybase and/or DB2
• Experience with OO Programming concepts such as UML and tools such as Rational Rose
• Familiarity with market data concepts, trading technologies and technical experience of systems used within the capital & financial markets
