Role:- Global Delivery Manager Structured Derivatives
Specific Responsibilities and Deliverables:-
Define possibilities to improve business satisfaction and WCS IT value add and propose actions for improvement. Your customer being GIO
Participate in WCS IT operational improvement initiatives (e.g. in OpEx) design and implementation Your customer being GIO,OpEx
Develop a motivated, competent, effective delivery teams for change the bank projects. Define the roles and responsibilities of own team and ensure they are well managed to delivery programs effectively. Your customer being:-GIO
Ensure that portfolio managers have the tools, processes and systems, as well as political support to deliver projects effectively. Where insufficient, suggest improvements and ensure effective action taken to implement improvements.
Provide timely financials for the projects for GIO services financial transparency
Your customer being:-GIO, Business Manager
Develop shared understanding of business objectives for the year & business possibilities to be realized through change solutions. Understand business’s strategic objective, and show how IT solutions can help achieve those objectives. Define business requirements. Define high level value assessment & KPI BLL
Ensure portfolios and programs of work are fully aligned to optimization programs and initiatives Your customer being:- OpEx,SAVE,RIO
Develop the high level portfolio plan, including potential vendors, KPI for assessing value, and cost projections
Ensure governance concerns for portfolio initiation are satisfied
Look for and bring forth opportunities for synergies. Support decisions on which synergy programs to pursue; support action plan development. Implement synergies identified by architecture board via programs and projects. Your customer being:- GIO,Strategic domain architect
Support Portfolio Manager in developing and agreeing the business objective including KPI for measuring value for specific projects
Define project scope, brief, and team required to deliver project.
Develop the business change solution including process change
Portfolio Manager Finalize funding & cost projection for the project. Ensure commitment from the business to costs & project plan. Ensure timely financials to the business for projects
Review customer satisfaction with projects or programs of work delivered, and define actions to improve customer satisfaction with the work delivered Business Line Leader
Ensure business benefits are valued & value add of Wholesale Banking IT is understood
Required qualifications, skills and knowledge
Detailed understanding of Structure Derivatives: Credit, Rates and Equities
Excellent communication skills – ability to interact with senior business users.
Required experience
Experience of managing in a complex environment.
Experience of managing both internal and external development teams.
First class delivery skills.
