Our client, an elite global investment firm in NYC currently has several openings for technically strong, hands-on project leads to participate in efforts to address demands in meeting growing business needs. Each require strong technical background and design skills, and the ability to work closely with the business and help shape strategic solutions and implementations for our client’s organization. This group spans across the New York, London, and Tokyo regions. It includes a dynamic team of talented junior and senior developers, technical architects, and functional analysts who work in concert to deliver high profile projects using OO technology. Some of the projects span across regions and might require traveling.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience working in comparable environment

  • Strong technical skills with proven ability to work in complex deliverables.

  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills

  • work closely with business users and technologists. Ability to effectively communicate across a broad audience

  • Prior hands-on technical experience in application development using Java, UI interfaces, database architecture and modeling across distributed platforms

  • Highly motivated, organized, strong analytical/problem solving skills, attention to detail and excellent follow-through

  • Candidates should have a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university

  • Hands-on development, with emphasis on OO design

  • Working closely with business groups to define and negotiate requirements

  • Proposing and defining strategic flows, providing some technical leadership and guidance to junior members

  • Supporting all phases of project lifecycle; i.e. analysis, design, development, testing, installation and training.

  • Define a long-term strategy to meet growing regulatory requirements
