JAVA Swing developer for well-established and very successful electronic trading platform. Focus on development and maintenance of a realtime web-based trading system for both Banks and Customers.
Responsibilities:
–Develop a unique realtime Java swing -based trading applet
–Concentrate on performance issues associated with fast and numerous screen updates of trading and market data.
–Work with server developers to integrate business logic.
Experience:
3-5 years of GUI development using JAVA- Swing . The candidate must have strong UI development skills using JAVA swing 1.4.x API to create complex realtime applets deployed over the internet.
In-depth experience in addressing performance issues related to Swing based GUIs. Must have experience in developing a JAVA swing based applet with fast (1 to 2 seconds) realtime screen updates.
Strong object oriented design skills with proven record of delivering OO designs to market.
Should be fluent in:

„X UNIX/ Linux
„X Application servers (JRUN, Tomcat, etc.)
„X Web Servers (Iplanet, Apache)
„X Web based application development
Experience with the following a plus:
„X SQL
„X C++

„X Trading Systems (other financial systems
