Hardware for compressing FIX links.

Imported from previous forum

What options (e.g. hardware) are there for compressing FIX links?

Many thanks in advance!

I assume that you have control over both ends of the link, so you are only looking to compress data that you route through your infrastructure. A couple of options:

  1. Use WAN Optimization from Cisco or Riverbed.
  2. Change to use FAST for 70% compression.
