The role has two key aspects:

  1. To run the project office for the Americas and to provide project management for strategic projects in the region.
  • Compliance to PMO/Tracker global process and procedures

  • Provide project reporting for CIO, CEO, and the US technical steering committees.

  • Identify and train a pool of resources within the organization with strong project management potential or capability.

  • Create a rotating position and understand how we make people available through back-fills, etc.

  • Provide direct project management for America’s key initiatives, e.g. Mexico, new offices or products.

  1. Manage the projects to provide technology for the new products process for the Americas.
  • Understand technology implications of new products.

  • Educate IT staff on the processing, compliance and regulatory requirements for the new products.

  • Represent the IT total response, e.g. current state, and required financial investment.

  • Where approval is given, manage any ensuing IT work and track against business constraints.

  • Insure that the appropriate project is launched with the proper budget, headcount and technology strategy.
