Our Current Needs:<br><br>
A unique opportunity to have front-office impact in a sophisticated electronic trading environment. As Head of Technology in our Dublin, Ireland office, you will be responsible for a team providing software, hardware and infrastructure support for all facets (from market-data through to settlement) of the European hub of this fast-paced global trading operation. With hands-on knowledge of C++, you will oversee a development team which extends and enhances an enterprise-wide electronic trading platform, with connectivity to exchanges and brokers across Europe. In this business-facing role, your direct experience designing, developing and supporting systems for Traders, Operations and Compliance will be paramount.
Key Qualifications: 10+ years of hands-on experience and familiarity with C++, Oracle, Perl, Visual Basic, Excel and Access. While the majority of time in this role will not involve development, the ideal candidate will have the necessary background to provide direction to the developers; Direct experience working in a front-office electronic equity trading environment. Knowledge of and experience with the FIX messaging protocol. Understanding of the complexities involved in the state-management problems associated with electronic order-routing. <br><br>
