My client, a tier one investment bank is currently looking to recruit a Head of Trading Analytics for their Asian Pacific Region, based in Hong Kong.
The right candidate will come from a strong algorithmic developing background and will play a critical role in determining the organisations strategic direction including the development of algorithmic trading strategies within the Asia marketplace, management of a development team and helping to develop execution analysis software and prop trading models. The role will also include managing the infrastructure and strategies of the electronic trading desk and helping to market the electronic platform to the financial community within Asia.
The right candidate should have must have an experienced analytical ability in applying mathematical theory within a trading environment, have managed a team of technical individuals, have a very good comprehension of the algorithmic arena, experience of change management projects (beneficial), as would be prior experience of building trading engines. CFA/CPA would also be a plus.
Candidates with an Asian language would be at distinct advantage however this is not necessary.
This is a senior position working for a tier one investment bank with a great potential to further your career, the seniority of this position will reflect the remuneration.
