How to Ack a List Order

Hi,

I would like to know how to acknowledge a List Order?

Either by

  1. phone?
  2. Or Send List Status (ListOrderStatus=ReceivedForExecution) even the buyside didn’t send List Status Request?

Hi Jimmy

When you receive ListOrder, by convention you would send back an ExececutionReport Ack (MsgType=8) with OrdStatus(39)=0 “New” and ExecType(150)=0 “New” for each order within the list.

As order state changes you would send the partial fills and fills for each order separately as needed.

The listatus message can be sent at anytime to report on the status of the list as a whole.

if list order is order ack seperately. what Tag11 ClOldID need to put in? Do I need to putin the value of list in Tag 11?
