How to put a HIT/TAKE order in FIX Gateway ?

I would like to know the tag to put a hit/put order through FIX 4.2 ?

Could you clarify what you mean by hit/put order? If you mean buy or sell, then its tag 54.

one definition of hit-take is take whatever you can(from a liquidity point) and cancel the rest. timeInForce=IOC(59=3) can satisfy this definition.
